Avatar
A visual representation of a person or character in a digital environment.
An avatar stands in for a user or character on screen, ranging from a simple 2D image to a fully rigged 3D body. In games and virtual worlds an avatar is typically driven directly by a human, while in AI systems it may be driven by software. Avatars can be photorealistic or deliberately stylized.
