Tavus launches AI Santa 2.0 on its PALs platform
A seasonal consumer demo doubling as a showcase for Tavus' three proprietary models covering video rendering, conversational audio and contextual perception.
Tavus announced AI Santa 2.0, built on its proprietary conversational video platform. The system carries memory across sessions, perceives user expressions and gestures in real time, and interacts through video, voice and text. It also performs agentic tasks including web search, drafting email and organising documents, and initiates proactive reminders and check-ins.
Three proprietary models underpin it: Phoenix-4 for video rendering, Sparrow-1 for conversational intelligence including emotional audio understanding, and Raven-1 for contextual perception, integrated through the Tavus CVI framework.
A free public demo offers three minutes daily without an account. The full experience is in early access on the Tavus PALs platform, with developer APIs, enterprise deployments and an open-source template available.
Why it matters for digital humans: The seasonal framing is marketing, but the architecture underneath is a clear statement of where the category is heading — perception and memory as first-class components alongside rendering, rather than a talking head bolted onto a chatbot.
